The energy is electric as we inch closer to the playoffs! With just two weeks left in the regular season, the competition is heating up, and every possession counts. Here’s everything you need to know about the action from January 6th - 10th and what’s ahead for the league!

The holiday break may be behind us, but the focus remains the same: staying sharp and committed to the grind. Remember the challenge we set during the break: 20 shots a day and 30-45 minutes of activity. Keep that mindset alive as we head into these crucial final weeks. Each practice, game, and drill is an opportunity to grow and improve—as players and individuals.

STAY HUNGRY PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:

The TrueLeague aims to develop our players further on the court and teach them life lessons through sports. every week coaches and Directors from the winning team from each division will nominate a Stay Hungry Player of the Week. There are  FOUR CRITERIA for this extraordinary award:

  1. Commitment to Growth: Demonstrated by impeccable attendance.

  2. Strong Work Ethic and Attitude: Demonstrated at practice, clinics, and training.

  3. Insatiable Appetite for More: Demonstrated by participating in extra sessions, optional clinics & workouts. 

  4. Cold Hard Results: Displayed by the increased impact on the court.

    STAY HUNGRY PLAYERS OF THE WEEK:

Maverick has been a spark of energy for his team all season, and this week he took it to another level. His hustle on defense and ability to create opportunities for his teammates were unmatched. Mavericks’s unselfish play and constant effort embody what it means to stay hungry. He’s becoming a true leader on and off the court. Great job, Maverick! - Coach Niles

 

Benjamin showed incredible determination and skill this week, dominating both ends of the floor. He finished the game strong but what stood out most was his grit and positive attitude. Benjamin’s commitment to improving every practice has been inspiring to watch. Keep it up, Benjamin—you’re setting the standard for your teammates! - Coach Mike

 

Andrew has been a force to be reckoned with this week. His leadership, court vision, and ability to make clutch plays helped his team secure a key victory. Andrew impact goes beyond the stat sheet.
