Welcome back from spring break!

So glad that everyone is back from Spring Break and ready to make the final push now that we are at the halfway mark of the season! This is the perfect time to begin some extra work and training to prepare for the back half of the season, so let me know if you have any questions about training! Let’s take a look at our Stay Hungry Players of the Week for 4/8-4/12

2nd/3rd grade division: ari takahashi

4th/5th grade division: ishan menon

6th/7th grade division: Amit Alon

TL Level Up and Transformation training!

Another great opportunity to sign up for some extra sessions with TrueLeague Level Up, w now have all sessions available up until the end of the season. This allows players to secure their spots early! We highly encourage families to sign up as soon as possible as these spots fill up extremely fast. Also, please let me know if you are interested in one of our class packs to sign up for multiple sessions at once!

We also have Transformation Training that is continuing in May! Please let me know if you are interested and I can get you in contact with Coach Jamal!

Primetime camp is back this summer!

Summer camp is back and better than ever this season! We encourage all TrueLeague players to join as this is a great way to stay active in Esface and learn from some amazing coaches! Our first session starts on June 18th, so make sure you sign up to secure your spot!

The Famer app is live and running!

For the last few weeks, we have been using Famer to assign homework to the players that they may do in their off time. It includes drills and videos to help the player grow on their basketball journey. It is not required for this homework to be done but it is highly encouraged and we hope that all players take advantage of this opportunity! Please reach out if you need to still be added or need help getting on the App!

BASKETBALL 101: INCREASE PARENT’S HOOP UNDERSTANDING

This video from Lebron James is a great example of an experienced player preaching what it means to be committed to basketball. At the end of the day, even if it is not basketball, if someone wants to be great at something you have to be committed and work hard at it. This is an attitude we try to foster every day in TrueLeague that any extra work is necessary if you truly want to be great at basketball. Practice is great, but the work that goes unseen ultimately will be what dictates whether a player achieves what they desire in basketball. This also helps foster a great person who can one day help pass this mindset on to others or future players.

We crave to learn and grow. The best way for us to grow is with your valued feedback. Please use the above link anytime to let us know how things are going (positives and negatives) for the TrueLeague. There’s an option to get in contact with an HQ member in the link as well. We look forward to hearing from you!
