Team Esface Selected as Adidas Gold Program

It was an exciting week for the academy as Team Esface was officially named an Adidas Gold Program and our College Prep teams will be competing on The Stage Circuit this Spring/Summer season! This will give our high school athletes higher levels of competition and additional exposure during NCAA Evaluation Periods during the Spring/Summer. You can also expect some new uniforms and gear for our Black Club in the upcoming season!

Esface Starts 2024 Tournament Play

After a long break, our Black Club was back competing at the 4BallersOnly MLK Showcase and Bay Area Roaddawgs Net Masters tournament. Our 3rd Grade Goers won the tournament at the MLK Showcase while the 8th Grade Goers had a runner-up finish in a competitive finals matchup. Great start to the new year as we gear up for another showing this weekend!

Spring/Summer Invitations on the way

We wanted to let all of our Black Club families know that invitations for the Spring/Summer season will be coming by the end of THIS WEEK. While we’re in the midst of our evaluation season, we always prioritize our current Black Club athletes first and will give our returners a week to secure their spot before we open up invitations to new athletes. After a week, we’ll be inviting all qualified athletes who attended our evaluations and will cap each grade at 20 athletes. Be on the lookout for an incoming email and be sure to secure your spot before invitations are sent to new athletes!

Stanford men’s basketball has been on a tear, winning four of their last five games including an 18-point victory over previously 4th ranked Arizona. Thanks to the Haase family, we’ve been invited to watch the Cardinal play FOR FREE this Saturday at 6pm in their game against Washington!

Black Club Vitamins Schedule Update

With our evaluations expanding to two hours on Fridays, we wanted to give everyone an update that our Black Club Vitamins program on Fridays has been merged to include all grades from 7-8pm. This will take place until the end of the Fall/Winter season to accommodate our growing groups of evaluations. We’ll still be splitting the groups into appropriate grades and skill levels. We’re back on the tournament scene this weekend as we’ll be playing in the G365 New Years Bash and Bulldawgs Dream It tournaments. Be sure to check TeamSnap for your schedule and please mark your availability on TeamSnap so we know our roster for the weekend.

We’ll be off from playing the next two weekends and back playing in a one-day tournament on February 10th. We hope everyone takes February 11th to enjoy Super Bowl Sunday but we want to ensure we play on that Saturday to make sure we’re ready for our trip up to Portland the following weekend.
