College Prep Spring Summer 2023 Newsletter #5 | Wednesday July 5th 2023

Hope everyone had a great June competing with their high school teams and a fun Fourth of July with the family! Some College Prep updates as we get back into practice tomorrow and gear up for the final month of the summer season.

17U at Adidas Gold The Final Act

The entire academy is excited to see our 17U team on the national stage! This is our first Adidas Gold event and the invitation is a testament to a strong summer season. We’re scheduled to play Friday at 2:10pm against Salt Lake Metro Black and 4:20pm against Coastal Elite. Saturday we play at 12:20pm against West Coast Flight Elite and Sunday is also at 12:20pm against Two One Elite. All games are at OGP Ladera and TeamSnap has been updated.

Following this weekend, 17U will have their final tournament of the summer at the Adidas NorCal Live July 15-16 at Open Gym Premier in Oakland.

15U/16U Tournament Updates

While our 15U and 16U teams were scheduled to compete at the Golden State Grand Finale this weekend, unfortunately we were unable to reach our minimum roster capacity and had to drop out of the event. Instead, we will play in the South Bay Summer Finale at West Valley College on July 21-23 to accommodate the change. We’ll be putting in a schedule request to play only on July 22-23.

We’ll still be playing in the Adidas NorCal Live July 15-16 at Open Gym Premier in Oakland as scheduled. TeamSnap has been updated to reflect the changes.

Team Esface Showcase Recap

The first ever Team Esface Showcase at Menlo College was a huge success! All three teams finished with a 1-1 record on the day in front of coaches from San Francisco State, Menlo, Skyline, Cañada, and College of San Mateo as well as media from Prep Hoops, Hoop Review, and Simply Basketball.
