College Prep Updates

It’s been a hectic but exciting week here at Team Esface! With the success of our College Prep programs, we have some exciting updates to share that will be beneficial for our program and athletes although will change our schedule moving forward.

17U Adidas Gold Invitation

With an 8-0 showing and #1 overall ranking in the Grassroots XL, our 17U College Prep team made noise on the national stage during the Spring. After achieving success on the highest independent circuit, they’ve been invited to participate on the Adidas Gold circuit in July. This will expose them to higher levels of competition and added exposure during the NCAA viewing period.

This will change our schedule moving forward. We will be playing in “The Stage” events and remove our Irvine trip originally scheduled July 22-23. Instead, we will be traveling to Anaheim for the “Final Act” tournament during July 6-9 and play at Open Gym Premier in Oakland for the “NorCal Live” tournament during July 15-16.

TeamSnap and the tournament document have been updated. Hotel information will be sent next week.

15U and 16U Updates

15U and 16U will still play in the Tri Valley area July 6-9 in the Golden State Grand Finale hosted by West Coast Elite as scheduled.

With the success from our 17U program, our 15U and 16U teams have also been invited to play in the “NorCal Live” tournament on July 15-16 at Open Gym Premier in Oakland. This is hosted by Adidas and will position our program to play in the Adidas Gold circuit next summer. This removes our Irvine tournament originally scheduled but will give us better competition with less travel.

Practice Updates

With the tournaments ending earlier than anticipated, this will impact our practices for the end of July. Our practice time slots on July 18th, 20th, 25th, and 27th would turn into optional workouts to finish the summer “off-season” and our Saturday practice on July 29th has been removed.
