Esface Represents at Stanford

It was a packed house filled with Team Esface athletes at Maples Pavilion on Sunday for Stanford’s 82-64 win over Idaho! Our 5th Grade Black teams put on a show at halftime as we had 221 tickets purchased by Team Esface families! Thank you to everyone who came out to support and we’ll see you back next year!

Menlo Game up next!

With the Stanford game behind us, we’re looking forward to our next Team Esface takeover event at Menlo College on 12/30. Our 3rd and 4th Grade Black teams will play at halftime when Menlo plays UC Merced. The game starts at 3pm as Coach Landon Seaman will lead the way for Menlo while Team Esface alumni Jon Taylor will be suiting up for UC Merced. All kids wearing Esface gear will get in free, hope to see you there!

Esface Alumni Represented at Serra vs. Sacred Heart Prep

Esface was well represented in the CalHi Sports Crumbl Cookies Game of the Week as 11 current or former Black Club and College Prep athletes took the court. Serra came away with the 53-45 victory behind 18 points from Alex Naber, who has been a Team Esface athlete since he was a 2nd grader in Neo Prep. Serra is now 5-1 on the season and ranked by CalHi Sports as the #5 team in the Bay Area. Despite the loss, Sacred Heart Prep is now 5-3 on the season and considered the early favorites to win the West Bay Athletic League after beating West Catholic Athletic League powers Bellarmine and St. Francis earlier this week. Catch the highlights in the video above, every player featured in the video is an Esface alum!

Upcoming Camps and Open Gyms

We hope everyone enjoys a great holiday break! We wanted to remind everyone that although we won’t practice until January 8th, 2024, we’ll still be around for those looking to get extra reps! We have our Christmas camp from December 27th-29th from 9am-4pm at SportsHouse and our New Year’s camp from January 2nd-January 5th from 9am-4pm at Arrillaga. We also have our optional open gym time for all Black Club athletes on December 27th and December 29th from 4-5:30pm at SportsHouse. Enjoy the holidays and see everyone back in 2024!
